The Evolution Of "Don't Hold Back"
Not Just Another Album

Three years ago a screenplay was written about a character named Jarvo Anderson,
exploring his journey through the indifferent middle class relationship with his "parents", the
odd ball love with "the girl", the dead end party life of "the friends", and the give and take
mentorship with "Jason", all in the pursuit of the one thing he will spend the rest of his life
doing.

The screenplay was written by young Film Maker Tyler Hynes and was in development with a
production company when Music Producer and brother Brandon Hynes made a decision that
he was eager to embark on a musical undertaking that involved more than your typical
thirteen track album. Together they took the script and translated it into music, sound effects
and lyrics. They embarked on this journey with the understanding that this would be
something never before done and would serve the story and the characters.

So began the formation and molding of "Don't Hold Back; The Story of Jarvo", an album told
in the 1st person by the main character, with sound effects and ambiance to set the scenes
where the story takes place along with musical genres to serve the emotion of each point in
the story. They went so far as to distort the guitar on track "Angel/Love" to give the feeling of
confusion and abrupt mood swings. Every arrangement and sound had a purpose and detail
to share with the audience if only heard as a whisper. The goal was to suck a listener in, much
like a good movie does, and allow the audience to invest themselves in the characters, not to
witness a life, but to partake in one.

That's precisely what "Don't Hold Back, The Story Of Jarvo" the album is, a life and a journey
that can be experienced; not just listened to. After having completed the album with artwork
that tells as much of a story as the music does, it was time to execute the next phase of the
plan, the videos. The entire album shot in video form, one video flowing into the next just like
the album does. Next will come the documentary, giving the viewer a front row seat to the
private music sessions that make up the album, the promotion and production side of things,
the artwork, the release, meetings and all else that is to come. The Documentary is described
as a realistic journal of the creation of the art and what it takes to pull off this type of an
undertaking. The merchandising for this product is set to be as out of the box and interesting
as the album and video are; and all of course, all staying within the reality of the story.

Finally we will have the feature film where we will finally fully introduce our characters, hear
them speak, and see the actual scenes as they were originally intended. Not to mention
answer any questions if any have gone unanswered. An extensive project to say the least
"Don't Hold Back, The Story of Jarvo" is designed to bring an audience closer to these
characters than ever accomplished before by any one of these different mediums alone. The
fusion of all of these will build a strong relationship with audiences and hopefully give
multiple avenues in which to experience the same moments and happenings.
